All ages and abilities are welcome to orienteering at Griffith University Gold Coast on Sunday 6th August. Start between 9am and 10am with course closure at 11am. Bring credit card or phone, good shoes, sun protection and water; you do not need a compass, but we will be pleased to help you learn to use one.
The Easy Course is 1km and crosses one road so youngsters need supervision. The Short Course is 2km and the Medium Course is 3km; the two are very different, so you can run both to get your money's worth. Adults pay $7, kids $6, families $20.
Enter the Griffith campus from Parklands Drive opposite the Hospital or from the Smith Street on-ramp, then follow signs to the car park in the SW corner of the campus. No need to pre-enter, but if you plan to bring a large group please let us know so that we can print extra maps.
