The camp is open to all junior members of Orienteering Queensland doing moderate and hard navigation (12-20 yrs).
This year the camp will be held in the Maryborough region, with accommodation at Aldershot Scout Camp.
It will start with Sprint training on the Thursday morning at Marist College Ashgrove (Brisbane). Participants will then travel in allocated cars to Maryborough Showgrounds for the second sprint training before heading to the scout camp.
Junior Camp is designed to provide instruction and coaching for intermediate to advanced levels. Juniors must have completed at least 3 Moderate courses unassisted to be eligible for camp. Please note that this camp is not suitable for beginners. We have assembled a great group of qualified coaches who will be on hand to provide opportunities for skill development and training advice.
COST: $150.00 per person - includes all food, accommodation, coaching, transport during the camp, and maps. Families of 3 or more children receive a $50 discount for each of the 3rd and subsequent children (select "Add service" on the Entry page).
The camp is subsidized by Orienteering Qld.
