Miles Evening Street O

Come and try MapRun orienteering around the streets! You will need a smartphone and a torch (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult). You can walk, jog or run on your own or in a group. Newcomers are very welcome! You will need to download the free MapRun6 app, see links below. The course will be available from Friday before the event, but the pin number will be provided at the event. No experience needed as instructions can be given on the day.

You will have 60 mins to visit as many checkpoints as possible, but beware, there are penalties if you go over 60 mins! This challenge is all about timing and choosing the best route.

Entry Fees for members are $5 per individual or $15 for a family (2 adults and dependent children under 25). Non-member fees are $8 per individual or $25 per family. This is the first in a series of 5 events coming to the South West. Anyone living west of and including Chinchilla is eligible for the remote member discount ($20 adults, $8 juniors under 21). Start any time between 6 and 6.30pm. The courses will close at 7.30pm. If you can't make it but are interested in trying the MapRun course in your own time, please email rroc.oq@gmail.com.
