The QLD Junior Camp this year has been combined with the National Junior Development Camp to be held in Stanthorpe from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th July. Everything about the camp will be the same as previous years, except we will be joined by elite coaches and interstate juniors.
1. The camp is open to OQ Club Members aged approximately 13-20 years, doing moderate or hard navigation
2. QLD Juniors MUST REGISTER on BOTH THIS SITE and the NATIONAL JUNIOR CAMP listing.
3. When you register for the NATIONAL JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT CAMP, you will pay $20. When you register here for the Qld Junior Camp, you will pay $100 (or $50 if you are the 3rd or 4th sibling)
4. Juniors will be staying at the Top of the Town Caravan Park in Stanthorpe.
5. All food, accommodation, travel and coaching costs are included in the camp fee, which is subsidised by Orienteering Qld.
6. Camp participants will need to be dropped at UQ Ipswich at 9.30am on Thursday 8 July, and collected from Charlies Paddock, near Dalveen, after the Camp Champs on Sunday 11 July. The Camp Champs is a public event, parents, etc are invited to participate.
