Jezzine Barracks Sprint-O (Townsville)

"The Prancing Pony is a hobbit friendly and cart friendly course. Once there hobbits may prefer to stop for refreshments - is it too late for second breakfast? Most certainly! But there will be sugary drinks on hand.... Sauron's Revenge Course will make you wonder if you'll ever get to the summit of Mount Doom. Will the Fellowship stay together? Will you need more than one eye to read the map? Finally you can destroy The One Ring and complete your quest to save Middle Earth? Luckily it's sprint-street-O and you'll be done by nightfall "


* Date - Saturday 29 September
* Time - Start window is between 3pm and 4.30pm, courses close at 5pm
* Start Location - Jezzine Barracks, North Ward (Kennedy Regiment Plaza ... bricked strip right in the middle of the parklands, park anywhere near Jezzine and you will find the start-finish)
* BYO Equipment - Comfortable walk / run attire, water carrying ability, hat, sun-cream
* Supplied - Maps, Clue-sheets, Navigation Instruction, finish drinks and water
* Team Size - Individual or small group welcome
* Prams etc - This event is definitely family-friendly, all CP's will be within the JB Precinct so no need to cross roads outside of JB (stairs - avoid the stairs !!)
* Cost - $8 per individual or $15 for a family
