The camp is designed to provide instruction and coaching in orienteering for intermediate to advanced levels. Juniors must be able to complete an ORANGE (Moderate course) unassisted in a reasonable time to be eligible for camp. Please note that this camp is NOT suitable for beginners or inexperienced orienteers. A number of qualified coaches will be on hand to provide quality opportunities for skill development and training advice. Camps in previous years have been enormously popular, great fun, and have helped juniors get more enjoyment and satisfaction out of orienteering.
While we try to provide as many qualified coaches as possible for the camp, we always need additional assistance. Parents and senior orienteers who would like to attend and assist with transport, administration, shadowing, and control setting are very welcome, and will be accommodated free for the camp.
