This event will straddle the NSW border and use the Wilmot's Waterholes map and the southern section of the Dalmoak map. The venue is situated 5km east of Applethorpe and is about 15 mins from Stanthorpe.

Sunny. Areas of morning frost. Light winds becoming northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between zero and 3 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 22.

Directions to Wilmot's Waterholes
From Warwick, follow the New England Highway south for 55km to Applethorpe. 600 m past the Applethorpe School, turn left into Border Road, cross over the railway line and immediately turn left. Follow for 150m and then turn right near the sawmill. Follow for 2.1km before turning left into Barnes Road and following a further 1.5km to the end. Take the gate on the left and follow signs through the paddock to the assembly area. Allow 50mins from Warwick, 2 hours from Toowoomba and 3 hours from Brisbane.

From Stanthorpe, take High Street past the Showgrounds to the intersection with the New England Highway. Turn right towards Warwick and follow for 600m to the Caltex Service Station/McDonalds on the left. Continue for a further 1.4km and turn right into Border Road and follow directions as above. Allow 15mins from Stanthorpe.

From the south, continue on the New England Highway bypass beyond Stanthorpe (do not go into Stanthorpe) and 1.4km after passing the Caltex Service Station/McDonalds on the left, turn right into Border Road and follow the directions as above. Allow 50 mins from the Qld/NSW border.
