Collins creek map has too much lantana on it now.
This event is the camp champs for the Qld junior camp, but will be open for all other orienteers as well. Come along and race the juniors!
Distances : H2 - 6.9 k(senior boys), H3 - 4.8k(senior girls and junior boys) H5 - 3.1k ( junior girls) M 3.3k ( younger junior girls), Easy 2.1, Very Easy 1.6k.The courses the kids are doing are listed if you wish to race our juniors, or beat a family member. COURSE CLOSURE AT 11:30am.
Directions to Event
From Brisbane: Take Cunningham Highway to Warrill View. Turn right into Rosewood-Warrill View Rd for 1.1k. turn left into Old Rosevale Rd. Procedd for approx. 7.4k, then turn right into the farm. Please close the gate.
This is classic bush orienteering with undulating grassland, very runnable. Some unmarked tracks and termite mounds. Gaiters are recommended as the grass is quite long in places. They are currently running cattle and horses in the paddock.
All starts except for the Easy and Very Easy will have a 1 km walk to the start.
There will be plenty of maps for Enter on the Day entries
Limited WATER at event. Softdrinks for sale. No toilets at event. TOILETS available at main turnoff at Warrill View.
