The assembly area is along Leyburn Forestry Rd.
From Toowoomba, head south on the New England Highway and turn right into the Cambooya Connection Rd (signposted to Leyburn and Cambooya). Follow this through Cambooya to Leyburn, and turn right at the police station into the Leyburn Forestry Rd. Follow for about 8km to the assembly area. Allow about 50 mins.
From Warwick and Stanthorpe, take the Cunningham Highway (Route 42) west from Warwick towards Inglewood for about 35km before turning right into Thanes Creek Road. The first 4km of this road is bitumen and then it becomes a good gravel road. 3.8km after the start of the gravel, take the right hand fork at a junction and travel a further 7km to the edge of the forest and park as directed.
Allow 45mins travel time from Warwick.
