The Sunshine Orienteers are running a FREE 'Come And Try It event' in the Beerburrum State Forest with a bush setting on forest tracks and trails.
The Beerburrum State Forest has an intricate network of tracks, trails and paths that are ideal for mountain bike orienteering. The forest is slowly drying out after all the rain earlier in the year so hopefully by mid June tracks will be a bit more compacted.
There will be 2 courses on offer, approx 10km - 60 minutes of pedalling and 20km - 120 minutes of pedalling. This event is open to everyone, mums, dads, children, families, elite athelets, adventure racers - you can compete individually or as a group.
There will be experienced people on hand at this event to assist and instruct any newcomers. All you need to participate is a bike and a helmet.

You must pre enter this event so we know how people to expect: this also assists us in knowing how many maps we need to print.
