Street Score Orienteering at Banora Point, Sunday 10 March, 9am-11am
All ages and abilities are welcome to Banora Point for our first club event for 2024. We have not used this map for a number of years, and the score event will encourage you to navigate the twisty maze of streets to explore the lovely parklands of this area.
In this score event, you have either 45 or 90mins to collect as many controls as possible, with penalties for arriving back late.
We will also have an easy course (1.2km) with control flags for beginners. This course is ideal for young children and does not cross any roads.
Start between 9am and 11am with course closure at 12pm. Bring credit card or phone, good shoes, sun protection and water; you do not need a compass, but we will be pleased to help you to learn to use one. Non-member adults pay $10, kids $8, families $27.
Please let us know if you are planning to come - especially if you are bringing a group.
