Charlies Paddock coaching for beginners

This is a bush coaching event for beginner orienteers of all ages. Come and try this adventure navigation sport!
'Charlies Paddock' is on Old Stanthorpe Rd, about 26km south of Morgan Park Raceway. Old Stanthorpe Rd is good gravel; the assembly area is on the right, just before you pass under the railway line. Alternatively, you can stay on the New England Highway to Dalveen and follow the directions below.
From the south, travel north on the New England Highway to Dalveen. Turn right by exiting the highway to the left, and travelling back underneath the highway. Turn right into Pine Cres, then left into Old Stanthorpe Rd and travel about 10km. The assembly area is on the left, just after passing under the railway bridge.

You can borrow a compass. Please bring a hat, walking shoes and a water bottle. You may like to wear leg covering (long pants).

Courses -
Very Easy - for all juniors up to 11 yrs, and for 12-14 yr olds with very little or no experience
Easy - for 15 - 90 year olds who have very little or no experience
Short Moderate

Cost: $5 per person
