Bush Trail Orienteering at Coombabah Lakelands, Gold Coast

All ages and abilities are welcome to Coombabah Lakelands on Sunday 14 April. This is a lovely area of bushland, with a wide variety of plant and animal species. You may even be able to spot a koala as you navigate the network of trails in this area.

This event will feature our usual range of courses from Easy (1.7km on bush tracks), to Short (2.7km), Medium (4.1km) and Long (6.4km). However, due to area restrictions, our courses for this event may not be as technically challenging as in the past. We will use the latest version of MapRun (older versions do not work properly) with flags on the Easy course.

No need to pre-enter or register, but please let us know right away if you plan to bring a substantial group so we can print more maps.

Start between 9am and 11am with course closure at 12pm. Bring credit card or phone, good shoes, sun protection and water. Non-member adults pay $8, kids $6, families $21.

You cannot use Shelter Road to get to this event; use Lakelands Road, formerly Rain Tree Glen, off Pine Ridge Road.
