Picnic Point: 4pm Sunday 4th Feb

Range Runners Orienteering Club welcomes all past and present members, friends and interested novices to their signature season opener event at Picnic Point.

Start will be near the playground equipment on Heller St.

There are 4 courses on offer:

Very Easy (1.6km) suitable for beginners
Easy (1.9km) also suitable for beginners - maybe after you have done the very easy
Short (2.6km) some navigational experience required
Long (3.1km) a great way to kick off the season with a bang! some bush, some hills, come and test your navigation, your route choice decisions and race your mates. Note also that course distances are by the 'red line'. You rarely run straight, so actual running distance of courses is greater than stated. Please remember to bring a hat and sunscreen, and drink plenty of water. Those running the short and long courses should also consider wearing leg coverings.

Prices are: Junior Member $6, Junior non- member $9, Senior Member $7, Senior non-member $12. Family Member $20, Family Non Member $33 .
