Race 2 of the Qld Schools Orienteering Championships is a Hagaby-style race (1-person relay). MASS START AT 2:15PM. Briefing at 2.00pm.
In a hagaby, the course is divided into loops. There is a mass start. Each competitor completes all the loops, but not necessarily in the same order.
Join the challenge of the Regional competition: Greater Brisbane, South-West Region, Darling Downs.
The Championships are open to:
- school students selected in a regional team
- individuals
The Junior Boys (15U), Junior Girls (15U), Senior Boys (19U) and Senior Girls (19U) Championship classes are also selection races for the Queensland Schools Orienteering Team, which will be announced in the week following the events. The team will compete in the 2023 Australian Schools Orienteering Championships in Western Australia in October 2023.
