Rosenthal Creek, 8km north of Dalveen

This is the Club Break Up event in the form of a Pot Luck duo relay. You will be matched with some one in the other class. Please try to get to the event by 10:00am at the latest.
Distances are relatively short. Moderate is 3km and Easy 2km This is to allow us to enjoy a sausage sizzle after the run. Bring your own drinks.
We hope as many members as possible can join us for our last BBB event of 2022. We will have the finish near Rosenthal Creek which is running well so maybe you might like a dip to keep cool.

From Warwick, travel south on the New England Highway for 37km to the Dalveen turn-off (MCosker Drive). Pass Dalveen village and take the first turn to the left into Pine Crescent and then left again into the Old Stanthorpe Road (do not cross the railway line). Proceed for 8km, taking care on the narrow bitumen and at the crests and watch out for kangaroos grazing beside the road.The assembly area will be signposted through a wooden gate on the right, just before Rosenthal Creek. Follow the signs to the assembly area beside the creek and park as directed. Allow 40 minutes from Warwick.

From Stanthorpe, proceed 20km north on the New England Highway and turn left where signposted to Dalveen. The road loops back towards Stanthorpe and then left under the highway to Dalveen village. Turn right at Jim Mitchell Park into Pine Crescent and then left into the Old Stanthorpe Road and proceed as above. Allow 25 minutes from Stanthorpe.
