North Shore Urban Adventure - Townsville

This Event was meant to be our return to Orienteering from COVID - but of course we had an unseasonal thunderstorm, it bucketed with rain, the crocodiles got washed out to sea and then the snow started ... ok slight exaggeration, but it was a NASTY night and I'm glad we were not out running in it !!!!
This is a 60 minute score event - get as many points as possible in the time limits. Walk / Run or Ride as an individual or small team. There will be no mass start - just a start window.
Location - North Shore Town Square - opposite the shopping centre.
Important Timings
* 3pm - Registration Opens
* 3.15pm - 4.30pm - Start Window
* 5.30pm - Course closes
Cost - $8per person / $15 per family or team of 2-3
Equipment - BYO comfortable walking / running attire and a waterbottle or camelbac might be handy.
Cold Drinks and a sugar hit at the end ?
Parking - lots in the shopping Centre n markets car parks, very short walk to start.
Event COVID Safety Plan
• Teams to stay at least 1.5m apart from other teams
• Only One Team Member to visit Registration
• Record your Details for Contact Tracing
• Clean Hands using Sanitiser
• BYO Water-bottles, Pens and Correct Entry Fee
• Stay Away / Go Home if you have ANY Cold, Flu Symptoms
• Any LOAN Items to be dropped in Sanitation Bucket
