Queensland Middle Distance Orienteering - OY5 and Badge Event


2015 Championships


This year’s Middle Distance event will be held in the Toohey Forest club’s homeland – the forest island of Toohey Forest in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. It is an area where the participants will experience fast and slow run and some patches of walk while weaving through and around the interesting sandstone features that are dotted through the bushland. There will be a wide range of courses catering for all age groups including an open easy class for the inexperienced.

Assembly area:


The assembly area will be on the west side of the Griffith University Nathan Campus ring road. There will be a 1.3km walk in to the start. Toilets will be a six minute walk away within the Nathan campus. Bring your own water.
