This event is being run as part of a series of park and street orienteering events in Rockhampton to help promote the sport and help create an orienteering club in the region. There will be easy courses available for beginners and instruction available on basic map reading and navigational skills. No special gear is required, just wear sensible footwear such as joggers and bring along a water bottle. Compasses may be borrowed at the event.
