This a promotional (free) event by OQ comprising an information stand and a short Buzz Racing course around the Common (a quite small area, very suited to younger children). Orienteers are invited to call in and lend a hand for a short time if able.
The Peaks to Points Festival features 32 hands-on environmental activities from 1-16 September, in an area stretching from Ipswich through Brisbane and Logan to Moreton Bay. The festival brings together more than 25 community groups and organisations to celebrate their achievements and raise community awareness of the need to preserve and enhance south east Queensland’s catchments and natural areas.
