Orienteering Queensland Junior Cyclones

The camp is designed to provide instruction and coaching in orienteering for intermediate to advanced levels. Juniors must be able to complete an ORANGE course
unassisted in a reasonable time to be eligible for camp. Please note that this camp is NOT suitable for beginners. A number of qualified coaches will be on hand
to provide quality opportunities for skill development and training advice. Camps in previous years have been enormously popular, great fun, and have helped juniors get more enjoyment and satisfaction out of orienteering.

While we try to provide as many qualified coaches as possible for the camp, we always need additional assistance. Parents and senior orienteers who would like
to attend and assist with transport, administration, shadowing, and control setting are very welcome, and will be accommodated free for the camp.

Dates: 27 Jun – 30 Jun 2012 Ages: 12-20 yrs

Bookings: This year we have had to set a maximum number of 35 junior participants. Places will be reserved in order bookings are received with full payment. Late bookings after 13 June will only be accepted if there are still vacancies, and no further bookings will be accepted after 20 June. If a child has to
withdraw in the case of illness, injury, etc, parents may apply for a full refund.

Cost: $160.00 per person, which includes all food, accommodation, coaching, transport and maps. Families of 3 or more children receive a 50% reduction in camp cost for the 3^rd child, etc.
