Perseverance Dam Coaching & Kid-O Scavenger Hunt

Coaching available for all ages and abilities! Families especially welcome! There will be an All Girls Beginners group. Coaching will include a map walk and how to use a thumb compass and SI Air.
Come and try orienteering! Just bring a hat, water bottle and clothing suitable for the bush. You can borrow a compass. Starts from 11am.

This event is part of the Great Australian KID-O Scavenger hunt in conjunction with the national launch of the Kid-O program. All juniors aged 10 and under (born 2015 or later) are invited to join our KID-O ambassadors Connie, Rocky, Wash and Dizzy for your chance to win some great prizes!

RULES for the Scavenger hunt:

Be born in 2015 or later (you do not have to be a member of a club)
Register for this event either online (choose Course - Kid-O in the dropdown box) or by emailing rroc.oq@gmail.com.
Download the Tick Off sheet and the colouring in sheet using the links to the right.
Answer the questions in the scavenger hunt with the help of an adult.

Pre-entry is strongly encouraged, for map printing, thanks. Register for one class (Kid-O, Very Easy, Easy, Moderate or Hard), but you may go out multiple times (no extra cost). If you do not have an Eventor login, please email rroc.oq@gmail.com, thanks.
