For the first time, the Qld Long Distance Championships will be held in Gurulmundi (pronouced 'Goorulmundi') State Forest, near the town of Miles, approx. 350km north-west of Brisbane (230km NW of Toowoomba). It will be followed by a middle distance event on Monday 5 May (Labour Day in Queensland).
