Bush Orienteering at Nerang NP, Gold Coast

All ages and abilities are welcome to Nerang National Park on Sunday 16 June. This map offers some great technical orienteering with many possible route choices depending on the terrain and vegetation.

Parking and start/finish areas for all courses will be at the Northern end of Mylor St and the Eastern end of Yarrayne Rd. The Easy (1.2km) and Moderate (2.2km) courses stay on or close to bush tracks, while the Short (2.9km) and Long (4.6km) courses are progressively longer and more challenging. This is a MapRun event but all courses will be fully flagged as well.

No need to pre-enter or register, but please let us know right away if you plan to bring a substantial group so we can print more maps.

Start between 9am and 11am with course closure at 12 noon. Bring sound footwear and clothing suitable for the bush which may be scratchy in areas. Non-member adults $10, kids $8, families $27.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting for Paradise Lost Orienteers Inc. will also be held after this event (12 noon). All are welcome to attend
