This will be a middle distance event, predominantly around the erosion gullies in the northern part of the map.
You may encounter jumping cactus (tiger pear) during your run which will attach itself to your shoes and gaiters. This low growing cactus has very long and sharp spikes. Do not try to remove it with your hands but use a stick instead!
