Format: This is a fun team event for mixed ability teams. It is a variation of a team scatter event with the added interest and excitement generated by a progression of relay change-overs. The teams of three will be given five pre-marked courses to complete – School course (easy) at 1:2500 scale, School course (moderate) 1.5km at 1:2500 scale. Street course scatter 2.5km, Bush course (moderate) 3km; Bush course (hard) 4km. Each course must be completed separately, with only two of the team members and maps allowed out on a course at any time. One of the team members must always be ‘in bedlam’ at the start/changeover area until all five courses are complete. A change over is by touch of hands. The teams has to include a female and either a junior (M/W 16 or younger) or a super vet (M/W 55 or older) Each of the team members has to complete at least one course. Adults may accompany children on the street course.

SI timing will be used. SI stick hire $2 per individual. SI sticks must be cleared before using a second time.

Catering: The Hilliard SS Chaplaincy Committee will be catering. This arrangement will allow us access to spacious covered area and toilet amenities adjacent to the school tuck shop. The luncheon will consist of bread rolls with generous fillings (Subway style), cakes and home made slices, and unlimited tea, coffee and cordial. A gluten free offering will be available if requested in advance. Cost $12 per adult; $6 for children 12 and under. Numbers participating must be notified in advance.
