Krystal makes WOC Middle Final

Congratulations to Australian orienteering representative Krystal Neumann on her results at the World Orienteering Championships in Norway. The Middle Qualification Races were run on 14 August and Krystal (ENQ) made it through to the Final. She came 13th in Heat 2. Congratulations Krystal!
Ex-QLDer Bridget Anderson also made it through to the Final coming 12th in Heat 1 and Simon Uphill's 11th in Heat 3 of the Men's competition also put him into the Final.

Olav Lundanes (NOR) and Tove Alexandersson (SWE) won the Middle Distance Final after very tight battles in both classes. Krystal came 42nd in the Final - an impressive performance having only just completed the Long Distance Final the day before. Bridget came 47th and Simon came 30th.

Krystal can be seen running strongly in the middle of this video clip at about 1:26m.
